The Adventure

Backcountry, bays & beyond

The Ten Thousand Islands are a fishery like nowhere else — a maze of mangrove creeks, oyster bars and grass flats teeming with snook, redfish and trout, with the open Gulf and its snapper, mackerel and tarpon just beyond. Our captains have fished these backwaters their whole lives and know exactly where the bite is on any tide.

Everything's handled: rods, reels, fresh bait, tackle and your fishing license are all aboard. Never held a rod? We'll teach you. Tournament angler? We'll put you on the fish. We bait the hooks, untangle the lines, and clean and bag your catch so you go home with dinner — and the story.

The Honey Holes

Where the fish are

Inshore or out front, your captain reads the tide and the season to put you on the bite.

01

Backcountry Mangroves

Snook and redfish ambush bait in the shady creeks and oyster bars — classic Ten Thousand Islands fishing.

02

Grass Flats

Wade-shallow flats alive with sea trout, pompano and tailing reds on the right tide.

03

The Passes

Where the tide rips between islands — snapper, mackerel and big snook stack up to feed.

04

Nearshore Reefs & Wrecks

A short run out front for grouper, snapper and the seasonal shot at a silver-king tarpon.

🎣 Tell us what you're after when you book — light-tackle backcountry, a numbers day for the kids, or a shot at a trophy.

Our captain put us on fish nonstop — my son landed his first snook and didn't stop grinning all day. Cleaned our catch for us too. Already rebooked for next year.

Good to Know

Fishing charter questions

Everything you need to know before you cast off. Still curious? Give us a call.

Do we need fishing licenses?

Nope — everyone aboard is covered under our captain's charter license, so there's nothing to buy. Just show up ready to fish.

What will we catch?

It depends on the season — try the "What's biting" chart above! Inshore we chase snook, redfish, sea trout, snapper and more; nearshore there's mackerel, grouper and a seasonal shot at tarpon. Your captain targets whatever's running.

Is the gear included?

Yes — rods, reels, tackle, fresh bait and ice are all aboard. Just bring yourself (and snacks or drinks if you like). Got a lucky rod? Bring it along.

Can we keep what we catch?

Absolutely, within the current season and bag limits. Your captain knows the regulations and will clean, fillet and bag your keepers so you head home with fresh dinner.

Is it good for kids and beginners?

Definitely. Our captains love teaching first-timers and keeping kids on the bite, and the calm, protected backcountry water makes for a comfortable trip for all ages.

How long are charters?

We offer half-day and full-day trips, inshore and nearshore. See the options and times on the booking screen, or call and we'll match a trip to your group and goals.

Where do we leave from?

We depart from San Marco Marina in Goodland (604 E Palm Ave) and from Naples Bay Resort & Marina (1500 5th Ave S). Your exact meeting point and parking come with your booking confirmation. Plan to arrive about 15 minutes early.

The bite is on

Ready to wet a line?

Gear's aboard, the captain knows the spots, and the fish are waiting. Lock in your charter and let's go catch 'em.
