Crowded beach sunset

★ The Gulf's Best Seat
Glide out as the sky catches fire. Cruise the calm Gulf with the people you love, dolphins surfacing in the golden light, and the kind of sunset that ends up framed on your wall. Bring the bubbly — we'll bring the view.
The Adventure
As the afternoon cools, your captain idles out through the calm bays toward open water — and the best seat in Southwest Florida. No crowded beach, no jockeying for a view. Just you, your people, and 360 degrees of sky going gold, then orange, then on fire.
Pour your favorite drink, kick back, and watch the show. Wild dolphins love the evening light and often surface alongside, and on the way you'll glide past the dreamy waterfront estates of Naples and Port Royal. It's the easiest, most romantic two hours you'll spend on the water — and it's a little different every single night.
The Difference
Anyone can fight for a spot on a crowded beach. Here's what a Sand Dollar cruise gets you instead.
The Magic
A little romance, a little wildlife, a whole lot of sky. Here's what you're in for.

The main event — the whole sky catching fire over open Gulf water, with a front-row seat just for you.

There's no more romantic seat in Florida. Couples, this one's for you — bring the bubbly.

Gather everyone aboard — grandparents to grandkids. The easy, magical family evening.

Pack your favorite drinks and snacks — we've got the cooler space, the ice and the views.

Wild dolphins love the golden light too — they often surface and play as the sun drops.

Cruise the waterways past Port Royal's jaw-dropping mansions, all glowing in the last light.
The Route
Your captain reads the sky, clouds and wind to find the night's best color. A few of our favorite finales:
Out past the islands to open water, where the sun melts straight into the sea — the classic Marco sunset.
Glide the calm waterways past the area's most spectacular waterfront estates, all aglow.
Where bay meets Gulf — dolphins surf the evening tide and the light turns to gold.
Anchor off a quiet sandbar and toast the day with sand between your toes.
🌅 Every sunset is one of a kind — no two cruises ever end the same way.
Plan Your Evening
Sunset time shifts through the year — we time every cruise to the day's sunset, so you just pick a date.
November – April
Crisp & early
Earlier sunsets (roughly 5:30–6:30pm), crisp clear skies and calm water. Pack a light layer.
May – October
Late & fiery
Later sunsets (closer to 8pm), big dramatic clouds and the most fiery color of the year.
🌅 Just pick your date — the exact departure time for that evening shows on the booking screen.
Plan Your Golden Hour
Sunset time drifts all year. Pick a month to see when to expect the magic — and when to be at the dock.
The Real Thing
Real skies, real guests, zero filters needed. Tap any photo to take a closer look.

How It Works
No guesswork — here's exactly how the night unfolds, from dock to afterglow.
Meet your captain about 90 minutes before sunset in Goodland or Naples.
Glide out through the calm bays toward the best open-water view of the evening.
Crack open your bubbly, kick back, and watch the sky start to glow.
The sun melts into the Gulf — cameras up, or just soak it in.
Cruise back under the first stars with the colors still fading behind you.

Guest Love
Best night of our whole vacation. We brought champagne, the captain found us the most insane orange sky, and a pod of dolphins showed up at sunset. Unreal.
We took my parents for their 40th anniversary. Private, peaceful, and the sunset did NOT disappoint. Our captain even grabbed photos for us. I cried a little.
Cruised past the Port Royal mansions then out for the sunset. Felt like a million bucks for a fraction of it. Bring your own wine — smartest tip ever.

Often! Wild dolphins love the evening light and frequently surface and surf alongside on the cruise out. They're wild animals so we can't promise it — but it happens a lot.
We depart from San Marco Marina in Goodland (604 E Palm Ave) and from Naples Bay Resort & Marina (1500 5th Ave S). Your exact meeting point and parking come with your booking confirmation. Plan to arrive about 15 minutes early.
Some of the most spectacular sunsets happen with clouds in the sky! If weather forces a cancellation before we leave the dock, you'll get a full refund or a reschedule.
